Hate to join the bandwagon on this, but none of this extension's functions seem to be working at time of writing, the Bitrate changer was already know, but Blurring and skipping intro's don't work either.

I wanted this extension for the spoiler blocking aspect. It does not work as of June of 2024.
False advertisement
Out of all the available features listed, Only 3 are actually there and one of them is stated as non functional in the description! The three features that are actually in the extension are: Streaming video quality (bitrate) (App description itself says this doesn't work!) Automatically Skip intro Hide spoilers Features listed that are MISSING: -"New" video speed rate option doesn't show up anywhere in the extension. -"modes" to change brightness saturation and contrast doesn't show up anywhere in the extension -option to change netflix server -option to upload custom subtitles The previous review said the custom subtitle feature is missing, but I also wanted to use the other ones. NONE of the features I actually want to use actually exists in the extension! With so many features missing, I decided to also click on the link to the "linux version" linked at the bottom of the extension menu... THAT"S A BROKEN LINK TOO Don't bother with this extension. Find another one where the devs actually put an accurate description and have working links in their instructions.
First off this review will be about the subtitle feature only and not be about or have anything to do with any other feature). It clearly states that there is a way to force custom subtitles and after download/installing the extension to look at the options that does not seem to be a thing. The menu only shows options to skip intro and/or choose bitrate with no other options available and I can not comment on if the bitrate changer even works since I was only after the subtitle option because I hoped it would offer a way to force subtitles on by default. Apparently, that is not even a real feature though despite it claiming to have that feature in the op. Therefore, I strongly suggest that the author change the original post since I am sure falsely advertising feature you do not even provide is something google would not be okay with (perhaps it did that once but the op should be changed to remove any features that are no longer available). For that reason alone I felt it deserved the 1 star.

Intro skip doesnt work
It works well for me, finally got 1080p quality on my laptop. All that 1 star review probably came from those who forgot to ALSO grab the extension "netflix 1080p".
